The institute ‘EQuip Kids’ founded by Dr. Sandeep Kelkar, MD. Dch (Pediatrics)., was established in the year 2006 and ever since it has been a growing organization with specific Aims & Objectives.(www.equipkids.net)
This institute is committed to raising EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE (EQ) of children, using thoroughly proven .scientific methods. The name Equip Kids has its origin from its mission of imparting kids with the EQ skills, through research based, experiential, fun activities. Our constant endeavor is to facilitate( & equip) children to face the emotional challenges of this ever changing modernized world with better emotional intelligence skills
This institute is having its regular activities at city of Thane, which include,
1) Child ‘EQ’ enhancement center: This centre is located at Little Steps day care center, Runwal Garden , Pokhran Road no.2, Thane(w) Contact-9820069249
Weekly sessions are held for children from age group of 5years-14years.Duration of programme is anywhere from 3months to 1 year depending on age group. Each session lasts for one hour. Experiential activities, games, role plays, audio visuals are given to children as per age group. These activities are based on Affective education curriculum & lessons adopted from EQ curriculum called Self Science
2) Child ‘EQ’ clinic: Currently this institute is running a CHILD ‘EQ’ CLINIC at Thane, mainly working on supporting & guiding parents, for raising their child’s EQ. The theme of this clinic is “EQ vaccination to prevent behavioral illnesses” For details contact 9892832453
