WHAT IS EQUIP KIDS ...

‘EQUIPKIDS’ is an organization committed to research & training work in the field of ‘Emotional Intelligence’ (www.equipkids.net). The name Equipkids has its origin from its mission of imparting kids with the Emotional Intelligence skills, through research based, experiential learning activities. There is an urgent need to equip people who have direct or an indirect influence on children’s emotional growth & development. Equipkids Team believes that the Trainer’s Course will equip people with scientific knowledge about biology of emotions, emotional intelligence & Role emotions play in children’s emotional health.

We carry out many comprehensive programmes for children, parents & teachers to infuse Emotional Intelligence in them, the likes of

‘EQ’ enhancement center :

Emotional Education classes & EQ skills training sessions are held weekly for children from age group of 5-10 years. The program duration is for 3 months. Each session lasts for two hours. Experiential activities, games, role plays, audio visuals are given to children as per age group. These activities are based on Affective education curriculum & lessons adopted from EQ curriculum called Self Science.

Child ‘EQ’ clinic :

Parents have concerns over children’s behavior, emotional development, academic performance etc. They need guidance and counseling regarding various aspects of parenting. Currently Equipkids runs a CHILD ‘EQ’ CLINIC mainly working on supporting, guiding parents & to enable them raise the EQ of their children. The theme of this clinic is “EQ vaccination to prevent behavioral illnesses”.

Emotionally Intelligent Parenting workshop :

The institute has been organizing highly effective, interactive parenting’ workshops. With the theme as ‘Parenting With Emotional Intelligence’.

EQ Testing :

The institute carries out EQ testing of children or age group 7-18 Years with authentic,world renowned EQ inventory.Children are then given personal training in Emotional Intelligence through powerful one-to-one weekly sessions for enhancing their EQ.

EQ Camp for children :

The institute has been organizing five days camp on Emotional Intelligence skills training for children of agegroup 10-15 years Through Experiential activities, games, role plays, & audio visuals children are taught about different EQ skills like Emotional Literacy, Emotion Management, Optimism, Friendship skills & motivation.
